My daughter was just under 1 month old when I got referred to Dee by my sister. Dee was super quick to respond to me and we arranged an appointment very quickly. Dee performed the snip for my daughter's tongue tie and showed me different breastfeeding positions which were very helpful. My daughter latched on so much better after her tongue tie was divided so I'm very grateful! I would highly recommend Dee to any mums experiencing latching issues or breastfeeding concerns. Dee came to see our son and assess his tongue tie having been passed her number by a friend who had recommended her service. Our son had weight gain issues. She went above and beyond to get out to us in Kent. We found the service she provided in-valuable and we have not looked back. Our midwife mentioned that Aiden might have a tongue tie but the only way to confirm this was to wait a month for an appointment...Dee quickly confirmed Aiden had 100% tongue tie and done the whole procedure within a few minutes! Aiden moaned more about his nappy change than about the tongue tie procedure.
We cannot explain how grateful we are to Dee for visiting us so quickly and helping our baby boy…. Aiden is now a three-month-old HAPPY BABY and this wouldn't be possible without Dee, we cannot recommend Dee highly enough!

On the day that Dee came round I was so nervous of what was going to happen but Dee made us feel at ease and was amazing with our baby throughout. I think that getting our little girl’s tongue-tie done was one of our best decisions yet. Her milk intake has pretty much doubled and she is now thriving with her weight gain. After being told it would be a 14 week wait to get my babies tongue tie assessed I contacted Dee. We had struggled with an effective latch and her weight was dropping on the centile chart. Dee was amazing I called late afternoon on a Friday and she discussed the issues and gave advise on the phone and arranged to visit Monday morning. Dee proficiently dealt with the tongue tie and then focused on positioning. Dee explained everything so well and took the time to ensure that feeding was going well. Feeding has been so much better since & less than 2 weeks later Elysia’s weight is on the up. The service Dee provides is priceless. Thank you Dee.

Expecting twins, I was very unsure as to whether I'd be able to breastfeed successfully but knew I really wanted to give it a go. Dee helped me enormously by teaching me the ins and out of breastfeeding, milk production and supply so that I could understand how best to go about making it work. She came to the hospital as soon as the babies were born, showed me how to latch, various positions for single and tandem feeding, what to watch for and was so encouraging and positive at a time when I was hugely overwhelmed and vulnerable.

I spoke to 6 different medical professionals including midwives and lactation consultants about my struggles to breastfeed and received no real help or advice….Dee showed me latches to improve our feeds. She filmed the latch and went through on the video all the aspects of the latch so I could go back to it at any time and remind myself of what to do. It took a few days to a week for everything to improve, now it has I am so relieved. My son latches well, and breastfeeding is comfortable and now (finally) the experience I had been so excited for when I fell pregnant.

Cannot recommend Dee more highly, our newborn was feeding beautifully (so we thought) and was content and satisfied but kept losing weight. Dee came over straight away and gave us a step by step plan that we had been looking for instead of rather woolly advice we had got elsewhere. Within less than 24 hours our baby girl had her first weight gain and has continued to gain. I mentioned Dee and her advice to the cranial osteopath we use and she said that she sounded like a 'lactation consultant to keep hold of' in the myriad of ones out there. Dee's advice was practical and easy to follow and didn't make us feel inadequate.

We were recommended Dee by 2 different people and I'm so glad that we booked an appointment with her. She responded quickly to me and came to our house and listened carefully to the problems I'd been having - I was in a lot of pain and feeding had been difficult for me. "Dee covers all the basics and things you might not have considered…"
I had Dee round to our flat for a private first aid course with seven other couples. We had a great afternoon, most importantly learning but in an easy to understand relaxed format with babies roaming wild and practising their own CPR techniques on the manikins! Highly recommend that anyone does this course. Dee covers all the basics and things you may not have even considered, she really knows her stuff and leaves you feeling confident that you can handle any emergency situation.

I took this course as realised after having my baby that I didn’t have a clue what to do if she needed first aid. Dee is a brilliant teacher – knowledgeable, approachable and funny. Her course is well-structured and really engaging, balancing theory with practical skills. It’s definitely left me feeling more equipped and confident should I need to use first aid in future.

You definitely don’t get bored as she does make you laugh as well as she makes you understand how important it is to have first aid course knowledge and practice in the event of an accident!
